Suzanne O’Gara is a Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC) and is currently under supervision toward obtaining her Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) credential. Her approach to treatment emphasizes rapport building through reflective listening, empathy, and collaboration. Suzanne integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET)/Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Her goal is to meet clients where they are in their recovery process and to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment that fosters growth, self-efficacy, and long-term recovery.
Suzanne earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rivier University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Plymouth State University.
Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family and is a devoted animal lover with a variety of pets at home.
