Outpatient Services offer support for anyone looking to further or continue his or her recovery. In both our historic Webster Place and convenient Manchester facilities, Farnum offers a variety of 1-hour outpatient groups throughout the week on different topics that relate to how we see our innate health and the 3 Principles within our day-to-day lives. Whether you are looking for continuation of care upon completing an inpatient program by engaging in an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), or for more specific short-term services such as license restoration, family support, and/or working towards getting back in touch with your own personal goals, our skilled team of clinicians are here to help!
Before entering treatment services at Farnum, you will need to obtain a screening to determine the level of care that best meets your needs. Please either reach out to our Admissions Department via the Check Insurance form or walk into our Outpatient Center during Open Access hours.
Open Access assessments are conducted by skilled clinicians Monday through Friday to answer questions in-person and determine the best care options. This is a walk-in service offered at both our Franklin and Manchester Outpatient locations.
Farnum offers evaluations that meet court-mandated requirements with licensed alcohol and drug counselors (LADC Evaluations).
Outpatient Services are recommended if you are transitioning from an inpatient level of care or if you need brief services for a specific purpose such as license restoration, family support or the brief intervention and resolution of personal goals.
Farnum offers a variety of Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) schedules to best accommodate your busy life. In IOP at either our Webster Place or Lake Ave. location, you will typically participate in educational programs three times per week for three hours each day over the course of approximately one month.
During IOP you will connect and build relationships with others while working closely with your clinician to develop a treatment and aftercare plan that support your recovery.
By participating in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), you can continue maintaining your outside responsibilities while having the support of clinical professionals and peers by participating in group five days a week, Monday through Friday, for two weeks.
Starting with an initial evaluation and continuing throughout the PHP program, you partner with the treatment team to develop an aftercare plan that may include a step down to intensive outpatient or individual sessions.
