Although Christopher is known for his big personality and kind heart, he still had trouble regulating his emotions and behavior. His parents, Janine and Hank, realized that Christopher would need additional support once he finished high school and were referred to Easterseals Youth Transitional Services in 2015.
Tristan Aho came to ESNH’s Residential & Educational Services several years ago as an angry teen who was prone to verbal outbursts and struggled to deal with a rough life as well as a variety of disabilities.

What’s there to get excited about at Easterseals New Hampshire’s Camp Sno-Mo? Teen camper Kaz might say catching frogs, reading books in the library, or having meals with fellow campers in the dining hall. His mom, Alicia, has a few more things add to the list.
Adopting a child comes with many rewards. But the process is not without challenges. Kendy is so appreciative of Easterseals Vermont’s Post Permanency Services. Her support person, Jill, has been there for all her ups and downs, providing one-on-one support, answering questions, and helping her connect to resources.
