At Farnum, our mission is simple: to help individuals and families find their way to lives free of the effects of alcohol and other drugs through comprehensive treatment and recovery services. These services are open to all.
We deliver this treatment through a range of therapeutic options in Manchester, New Hampshire. All treatment is conducted under the guidance of an experienced clinical and medical team and customized to the unique needs of each client.
The Farnum Approach
Our approach at Farnum sets us apart: We know there are many roads to recovery, so we utilize different treatment methods, such as the Three Principles of Mind, Thought, and Consciousness (also known as the Three Ps or Health Realization) along with evidence-based practice treatment methods, to ensure a program that meets each client’s individual needs. This approach assists clients in accessing a range of tools as they work toward recovery.

We’re committed to delivering substance use treatment services that are measurable, accountable and of the highest performance standards. We’re successful in meeting that commitment, as demonstrated by the fact that Farnum has earned three consecutive three-year accreditations from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Farnum achieved this recognition through a rigorous peer review process that included multiple visits to our facilities by a team of on-site accreditors.
CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of the persons served. A three-year CARF accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation given to an organization.
Our Facilities
Farnum provides quality treatment at our Queen City and Outpatient facilities located in the heart of Manchester, NH. We serve individuals throughout New England and beyond.
Our facilities are easily accessible from the Manchester-Boston Regional airport, as well as by car.
