We Bring the Care to You

Farnum brings evidence-based addiction treatment to you wherever you are through safe and convenient telehealth technology, also known as telemedicine. Telehealth eliminates the barriers to treatment such as geography, transportation, and stigma.

Wherever you are in New England – Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or Vermont –  you don’t need to live near or travel to Farnum’s Outpatient location to access our treatment services. Designed to fit your lifestyle, Farnum’s telehealth services are accessible through your tablet, computer, or smartphone.

Why Telehealth?

A review by the Journal of Medical Internet Research stated, “Telemedicine was found to be an effective tool in reducing alcohol consumption and increasing patients’ accessibility to health care services…telemedicine may be effective in reducing health care costs and improving the patient’s quality of life.”

Farnum’s virtual Outpatient addiction treatment incorporates the same evidence-based practices as our in-person, patient-centered Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accredited Outpatient Programs for treatment of addiction to alcohol and other drugs.
