Our Farnum Transitional Living house is designed for women seeking the structure and support of a sober living environment with the ability to engage in outpatient programming while they transition back into the community. At this facility, residents are able to return to employment, schooling, or volunteering, then return to the house for recovery meetings and other programs, while having the support of staff and other residents. The length of stay varies for each client but typically ranges from one to six months.

Facility Information & Amenities: 

  • 24/7 staff support
  • Health Realization/Three Principles and Alumni Meetings are available throughout the week at Farnum
  • A single bedroom, a double bedroom, and a quad bedroom
  • Two bathrooms, each with a shower
  • The cost of groceries is included in the rent, and residents do weekly shopping with the support of staff
  • Within walking distance to Elm Street and South Willow St., and easy access to the public bus system.
  • Access and passes to the YMCA in Downtown Manchester
