Farnum Center Outpatient Services

Farnum Center Outpatient Services

At Farnum Center, we realize that it is important for you to have access to treatment as soon as you are willing to engage. So, we offer what we refer to as our Open Access Assessment process, which allows any client who wishes to engage in treatment the opportunity to walk in, Monday through Friday between 8am-10am and be screened by an Outpatient Counselor to help determine the appropriate level of care (Medical Detox, Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, Medication Assisted Treatment, or Outpatient Programming) for that client. This is a first come, first serve process with limited daily availability, so, we encourage people to call before coming to get the most accurate information on availability for that day (603-622-3020). Any client who arrives for an assessment M-F between 8-10am, will either be assessed that day or given a specific time to return and be assessed the following business day.

Once assessed by an Outpatient Counselor, a client is given the opportunity to engage in the recommended level of care. If that level of care is Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, Medication Assisted Treatment or other Outpatient Programming, the client will receive those services in our newly renovated space at 700 Lake Ave, the same place he or she was assessed in Open Access.

In this Outpatient Space, we have a drug screening laboratory, 22 offices, and 5 group rooms, allowing us to offer many groups throughout the day, both mornings and evenings. We have on-site a warm and friendly reception staff, a Clinical Psychologist, several Substance Abuse Counselors, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Medical Doctors providing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and other MAT support staff.

All of our staff are passionate about providing high-quality treatment services in a way that enables clients to feel dignified and respected. We truly enjoy pointing clients toward their inner wisdom and resiliency and watching their transformation back to health and wellbeing.
