Helping individuals and families find their way to a life free of the effects of alcohol and other drugs through comprehensive treatment and recovery services, open to all.
The approach at Farnum Center sets us apart. Clients learn about their own innate capacity for health, insight, and happiness. We incorporate the Three Principles of Mind, Thought, and Consciousness (also known as Health Realization) into our programs. This approach assists clients in accessing a healthier perspective on life, allowing them to leave the past behind. This treatment method has helped thousands of people experience peace in their lives and a sustained impact on recovery. The Farnum experience is a journey from the day you enter the program, where we strive to present a fresh point of view.

Our services are different from what you would typically find in other programs because we are pointing clients towards their own innate wisdom and resiliency versus critique and trying to change or reframe the past. By knowing that everyone has the capacity to succeed in treatment, we have learned that examining the past does not tend to help a person live in the now, nor create the future they are hoping for.
Farnum Center and its supporters know that substance use disorders are treatable. Our clients and their families are treated with respect and dignity at all times, in a non-judgmental and supportive manner.
Active involvement of family and support systems is encouraged while respecting client confidentiality and privacy. Services are planned in partnership with clients, as we believe they have incredible resilience and capacity to achieve their goals.
We demonstrate our commitment to delivering the best, high quality substance use treatment services and maintaining a high level of quality standards by earning our third consecutive three-year CARF accreditation. A three-year CARF Accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation given to an organization. Farnum achieved this high honor through a rigorous peer review process and have demonstrated to a team of surveyors during on-site visits our ongoing commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
CARF International (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of the persons served.
Farnum provides quality treatment in four modern facilities located in scenic New Hampshire serving individuals and families throughout New England and beyond.
